Find one-of-a-kind, locally made gifts

If you’re tired of seeing the same mass-produced items in every Christmas market, OZ is a breath of fresh air. Each item here is unique, handmade, and locally sourced. Whether it’s a beautiful piece of jewellery, a striking piece of furniture, or a charming Christmas decoration, you’ll be sure to find something special that reflects the true spirit of Alsace.

What makes OZ stand out is the chance to meet the talented creators behind the products. Many of the artisans will be present, happy to share the stories behind their creations and talk about their craft. It’s a rare opportunity to connect with the makers and learn more about the skills and techniques that go into each piece.

The market’s location in a beautifully decorated space, l'Aubette, next to the city’s main Christmas attractions makes it the perfect stop during your visit. At the entrance, you’ll be welcomed by the "Creators' Christmas Tree", featuring handmade ornaments available for purchase in limited editions—ideal for those looking to add a unique, Alsatian touch to their holiday decor.

Get involved in creative workshops

OZ isn’t just about shopping—it’s also a place to try your hand at traditional arts and crafts. There are a variety of workshops for both children and adults, where you can learn skills like jewellery making, ceramics, or leatherworking. These workshops are a fun and interactive way to engage with local craftsmanship and create something personal to take home.
